Lal Bagh Garden Was Commissioned By Haider Ali In 1760 But His Son Tipu Sultan Completed It. The Garden Area Past At 45 acres in 1874 with major adding done in 1889 (30 acres) and 1891 (94 acres).The famous Glass House Foundation Was Done In the year of 1898 by Jhon Cameron in the image of London’s Crystal Palace. Lalbagh Botanical Garden is located in Bangalore and it is nationally and internationally famous center for botanical artwork, and it is a refuge for all nature lovers, Lal Bagh covers an area 240 acres in the city and has nearly 1,854 sorts of plants. the garden marks rare plants of French, Persian and afghani and has achieved the status of a government botanical garden. and one more tourist attraction in Lalbagh is Lal Bagh Rock which is over 3000 million years old.

Lal Bagh Garden has four different entryways to the gate. the northern gate provides an easy way to the glasshouse and southern gate considered to be the main gate as it opens up to the Lalbagh road and Eastern gates close to Jayanagar and western gates is located near the Siddapura circle. The best time to visit Lalbagh gardens during the flower shows in January and August, and every year on republic day and independence day, flower shows are held in the premise of Lalbagh managed by the department of horticulture and Mysore horticulture society.
