Akshayanagara Kere

Akshaya Nagar is a rather self-effacing Residential layout in Bangalore. It did not even fall under the Bangalore metropolitan urban body, Bruhat Bangalore Mahanagar Palike, until recently. That Means the Akshaya Nagar people did not receive any of the public facilities like water supply, sewage drain pipes or garbage collection service compare to the other residential areas. Even today Akshaya Nagara is not an assignee of the centralized Cauvery water supply and is simply dependent on bore wells.

The residents of Akshaya Nagara Decided not to weep about these issues for the authorities to solve their problems.they took it upon themselves and able to maintain solutions and create an attractive living environment for themselves.

In the past years, all the sewage water from the layout used to flow into it and it was also a spot for the open dump. but the dream work was totally reversed by the dedicated work of the residents of Akshaya Nagara.

Akshaya Nagara Resident's first aim was to stop all sewage from getting dumped into the lake and it is not the part of BBMP and also it was not eligible for any funds from the municipal corporation. the residents decided to build the swage drains by themselves.in that resident, every house contributed the fund and the job was begun and successfully achieved their target. After this big achievement residents went on to the next urgent issue water supply. The water supply of Akshaya Nagar residents entirely depends on bore wells. they started building Strom water drains to alternative the water into the lake.they also dig water holes near the layout and That pits are specially layered using charcoal and sand, so that entire rainwater located into the ground.and also they leveled the land around the lake to make a beautiful walking path. they planted more trees and installed benches for people to sit on.they follow 1:1 that is one tree for every resident. Every week the residents of this layout take time to maintain the Akshaya Nagara lake.

The change is crafted by a gathering of eager occupants of the format driven by Ramesh Kumar who have drudged to reestablish the lake to its present structure.
